About This Course

This is a non-contact online/home study training that focuses on play therapy interventions that can be implemented with mental health professionals.  

You will need internet access to complete this training. 

You will be asked to watch a video of a recorded live training.  It is expected that you will watch the complete video and review any supplemental materials provided in the course room.  Information from the video will be referenced on the post exam at the end of the training, which a passing grade is required to earn a participant certificate. 

Alvin Bonds, II via Revelation of Hope Counseling Services is solely responsible for the creation, content, and continuing education hours of this home study training.

Continuing Education

This training is approved for 2 CE Hrs for the below continuing education bodies. Upon completion of the training materials, training evaluation, and post exam (with a score of 80% or higher), the training certificate of completion will be issued to the participant.

Alvin Bonds II, NCC, ACS, RPT-S, LPC/MHSP, LMFT

Alvin Bonds, II is dually licensed in Tennessee as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation (LPC/MHSP). Alvin has experiences with both administrative and clinical supervision in various settings including community mental health, inpatient, residential, crisis stabilization unit, mobile crisis and outpatient. Alvin currently owns a group private practice in Jackson, TN where he provides clinical oversight to other clinicians, as well as individually seeing children, men, women, couples, and families with various presenting issues. Alvin has obtained the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. and Affiliates (NBCC) credential of National Certified Counselor (NCC), as well as the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) credential of Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). Alvin obtained his master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University, and is currently working on his Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Capella University. Alvin has a passion for teaching and supervision and provides guidance not only to master-level counselors in training for their practicum and internship experiences, but also provides post-graduate clinical supervision to individuals seeking state licensure. Alvin also has a passion for working with families and for children in the rural communities and has obtained the Association for Play Therapy (APT) credential of Registered Play Therapist - Supervisor (RPT-S). Alvin, through his practice, is an Approved Provider of Continuing Education and is coordinating various training programs to offer continuing education to mental health professionals.
